The Oklahoma Heritage Association purchased and renovated the historic Mid-Continent Life
Insurance Building in Oklahoma City to create a new Oklahoma Heritage Center to tell
Oklahomašs history through its people.
Through five unique media elements in the main gallery, Oklahomans past and present paint a
picture of the state's history in their portrayal of the five characteristics of an Oklahoman:
perseverance, pioneer spirit, optimism, generosity and individualism. Wondercabinet, as a
subcontractor to Northern Light Productions, designed the exhibit elements which support the
media at the centerpiece of the exhibit.
