Wondercabinet conducted several Visioning and Content Development Workshops with the museum
team and members of the community as part of a Master Plan for this new children's museum.
The Master Plan provides an overview of the Museum's mission, and establishes the
characteristics of the community-based museum experience envisioned by its founders and board.
The notion for the museum began as a discussion among friends in a restaurant, with their initial
thoughts and dreams sketched on napkins. The exhibit ideas that later emerged from the Master
Plan process were developed by Wondercabinet into "napkin sketches" to generate enthusiasm in
the community and support project fundraising.
